Drumming up support - home and away

Pontypridd will be going all out to make up lost ground in the race for the Premiership title, with a tough schedule of two games per week to the end of the season, starting with a home tie against Swansea on Wednesday evening 4th April.

The huge disappointment of a home league defeat against Neath last Saturday will be put behind them as the Ponty squad gear up for a renewed challenge for honours.

The Premiership title race is wide open with thirteen points separating the top seven teams, and Pontypridd as the seventh placed club having three games in hand over Aberavon at the top.

A concerted effort is required by the team, and a concerted turn-out of support required to cheer them on in their every endeavour.

A crowd of 3,000 plus watched the Pontypridd v Neath game on Saturday and another big crowd generating its unique atmosphere would be welcomed at the Swansea game.

On Saturday 7th April Pontypridd travel to take on old rivals Cardiff at the Arms Park in another crunch league tie which kicks off at 2:30pm. The Supporters’ Club are running buses to this game, departing Sardis Road at 12:30pm.

To book a place on the bus to Cardiff please call Phil Lycett on: 01443 662561
