[BBCi] Bridgend chief executive Adrian Hadley has become the first major casualty of the restructuring of Welsh rugby.
The former Cardiff and Wales winger has been axed by the Brewery Field club in the wake of the newly formed five regional teams.
Bridgend are to be linked with Pontypridd, whose supremo Gareth Thomas is expected to take charge of the administrative side of the new side.
Hadley has been given six months notice.
He said: "Obviously one is disappointed at losing one's job but I am not in any way bitter.
"It was inevitable there would be some casualties with the new set-up."
Bridgend face Newport on Saturday in the Principality Cup semi-final.
