Blues Cup win for the Youth

Pontypridd Youth are still going strong in three competitions, their latest success coming in the Blues Cup.

In difficult conditions, Ponty Youth battled to a 3pts to 8 victory away at Aberdare in the semi final round of the Cup on Saturday 1st February. A solitary try scored by lock Sonni Williams and a penalty kicked by winger Nial Jones were enough to seal the win for Ponty.

Pontypridd Youth meanwhile sit top of the Blues Premiership Tier 1 table with two wins out of two and are also in the reckoning for the National Youth Cup.

Next up on the fixture schedule are a home Premiership tie against Cardiff Met on Saturday 8th February, followed by a long haul trip up north to face Nant Conwy in the National Cup on 15th February.
