Awards Night

A milestone event, marking the end of another season for Pontypridd RFC, takes place on Saturday evening 20th May, namely the Supporters' Club Player of the Year Awards Night.

Following on from Ponty's cup heroics, and a solid contribution in the premier division, there will be plenty of discussion, and various opinions on who should be named as best player of a successful campaign.

The awards evening will be held in the clubhouse bar, commencing at 7:30pm, with a buffet, a comedian, and disco provided as entertainment. There are still a limited amount of tickets available, priced at £10 each. Voting forms, open to all members of Pontypridd (i.e. season ticket holders) can be obtained from the club office or shop, and can be returned up to the night of the awards ceremony. The categories to be decided by a ballot are those of Player of the Year and Most Improved Player of the Year. The Supporters Club will nominate a winner of the Bob Penberthy Award for clubman / woman of the year, whilst the local GTFM radio station will also make their own presentation.
