Annual Gala Dinner 2012

The Pontypridd RFC Annual Gala Dinner will be held on Friday evening 6^th July 2012, and this year will be staged in a specially erected marquee in the Sardis Road ground. The event will be in celebration of ten years of ‘Ponty Rugby.’

The marquee will be situated on the rear car park area behind the Clubhouse.

After consultation with supporters and benefactors, it has been decided that this year’s event will be a formal dinner and dance with a live band.

Reception will be in the main Clubhouse and guests will then proceed through a canopy linking into the marquee for the main event. An excellent four course dinner with wine will be served, followed by the annual Senior and Youth Players’ Awards presentation.

The theme for the evening will be “A Decade of Ponty Rugby”. Members of the Welsh Cup winning team of 2002 will be in attendance as will the current squad. 

On conclusion of the presentations, the band will provide live music for dancing well into the night. 

For those who relish a memorable occasion, whilst paying tribute to players who have contributed to making Pontypridd RFC a great institution, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

The reception will commence at 7:30pm and dinner will commence at 8:00pm. The bar and live music will continue until 1:00am.   

The cost of individual tickets for the function will be £40 per head or £400 for tables of ten.
