Pontypridd RFC is extremely grateful to all parties concerned in making the playing of the friendly game against Llantrisant RFC possible.
It was only on the morning of the game itself that initial proposals to find a replacement fixture for the SWALEC Cup tie against Tonmawr were made.
The assistance of Llantrisant RFC who volunteered as opponents, the WRU who made arrangements for the game to be authorised and of course of Pontypridd RFC’s ever willing band of match-day volunteers is greatly appreciated.
A cup tie was not played, but rugby was the winner at Sardis Road on Saturday 18th February, proving the truth of the old adage… “Where there’s a will, there’s a way!”
