In memory of a great Ponty character

“Snid Day” will be held at Hopkistown Cricket Club on Sunday 28^th August, in memory of former Pontypridd RFC player Gareth Jones who tragically passed away in June 2008.

‘Snid’ was a Glyncoch boy who represented Ponty before moving on to Neath, and it was whilst playing for the Welsh All Blacks that he incurred a serious neck injury which ultimately cost him his life. The memories of a vivacious and dynamic player live on.

“Snid Day” will commence at Hopkinstown Cricket Club at 10:30am on Sunday 28^th August.

There will be a six a side cricket tournament, barbeque, singer and bouncy castle – plenty of entertainment for all the family.
