Work underway on the latest Ponty groggs

The latest Ponty players to receive the ultimate honour of being “grogged” are flanker Wayne O’Connor and centre Dafydd Lockyer.

A poll of Ponty supporters recently launched by the World of Groggs resulted in O’Connor and Lockyer – “Smurf and Locks” – being nominated as the chosen subjects to be immortalised in clay.

Master craftsman Richard Hughes has started work on the figures which are expected to be ready within a month or so.

Ponty supporters can now place their pre-orders for the new products, which will retail at £39.95, by contacting Carly at the World of Groggs:
