Pontypridd RFC will have the last laugh this summer – literally so as the comedy event of the year comes to Sardis Road on Thursday 16th June – Ricky Tomlinson’s rib tickling, side splitting “House of Pain – My Arse!” show.
Ricky will take to the stage as his popular TV alter ego Jim Royle and will be joined by award winning fellow Scouse comedian Gary Skyner.
Gary was theUK's second thalidomide victim and in addition to being a comedian is an effective and inspirational speaker.Gary's tale of triumph over tragedy will touch your hearts.
The show will be compeered by former Ponty and Wales hooker Nigel Meeke, himself a larger than life character who will have some comic tales of his own to tell about his time at the club.
During the interval on the night Nigel will conduct a question and answer session with Ponty coach Dale McIntosh – that in itself would be worth the admission fee!
